Organizations the world over is increasingly finding themselves coping with changes taking place in their environment. There are two sets of forces that changing once familiar organizational landscape increasing reliance on teams and workforce. This bringing more people from diverse backgrounds into contact one another. In general, diversity refers to ways organizations differ. That sounds simple, but defining it specifically a challenge because differ many ways-races, gender, ethnic group, age, personality, cognitive style, tenure, function, more. Managing means establishing heterogeneous workforce perform its potential an equitable work environment where no member or group members has advantage disadvantage. Effectively managing helps identify capitalize opportunities improve products services, attract, retain, motivate utilize talented effectively quality decision-making at all levels reap benefits being perceived as socially conscious progressive organization.
